Visioning Session #2

When our book club ended in October, we held our first public visioning session and invited all members of the book club to attend. While virtual attendance was a small gathering, we included resources for others to participate asynchronously. Our intentions were to use similar prompts from the first visioning session, this time inviting others to respond to the two questions.

Imagine it's a year from now... WHAT and HOW might we be co-creating in this ID working group?

Participants answers ranged from examples of designing various projects and curriculums to co-creating resources and materials specific to IDs and other learning designers. Group members explored supporting others in having uncomfortable conversations to engage in the work. Some imagined future workshops while others imagined meeting weekly.

With the busyness of life and schedules, we decided to take a break through the holidays with the hope of reconvening in January. However, this has been delayed as the core start-up group began the process of collaboratively writing a journal article.
